The Madárdal Zenekar (Bird Song Ensemble) came alive in the nest of the Hattyúdal Színház (Swan Song Theatre).
It has taken flight as an independent group since 1999. In our songs we invoke the fairy-like flowery memories of the Hungarian musical tradition. We tap our own folk and historical roots first of all but also pay attention to the rich traditions of Europe and Asia. We play music for young and old at concerts, festivals, festivities, on the occasions of anniversaries and festive days. We perform dance and instrument shows and offer special music lessons on request.

Besides our stage programmes, we are also happy to provide performances on stilts, with music and masks!

We also accept commissions to perfom, conduct dance classes, and introduce musical instruments in ENGLISH and FRENCH!
